“Coastal vegetation of Tahiti and her islands” digital educational booklet.
We are pleased to present the digital educational booklet on the coastal vegetation of Tahiti and its islands developed by Te mana o te moana.
This educational tool was created as part of the TE FA’A HOTU NO TE PARURU education project, supported by the French initiative for coral reefs (IFRECOR).
This project aims to strengthen the resilience of coastal ecosystems to prevent erosion and the disappearance of ecosystems through revegetation.
The booklet is distributed to schools in French Polynesia and used in educational workshops organized in 10 classes of secondary schools in Tahiti and Moorea, to raise awareness of the importance of protecting and restoring coastlines to fight against climate change and the disappearance of species.
